Gamers vs. Homelessness: Every Pair Makes an Impact

At Stay On The Attack, we believe the gaming community can make an impact far beyond the screen.

That belief is behind Gamers vs. Homelessness, a SOTA community initiative turning something as simple as an unused pair of shoes into an opportunity to help someone else.

In partnership with Soles4Souls, SOTA is collecting new and gently worn shoes to give them a second life and support people and communities in need. Instead of allowing wearable shoes to sit forgotten in a closet or end up in a landfill, we're asking our community to put them back to work.

Step Up and Make an Impact

Getting involved is simple. Donate new or gently worn, wearable shoes and record your contribution with SOTA to receive your points.

You can locate a participating donation location through the Soles4Souls Give Shoes Location Finder or use the Soles4Souls Digital Donor Form when applicable. After making your donation, submit it through the SOTA Shoe Donation Submission Form to participate in the SOTA Points program.

A pair of shoes may seem small. Multiply it by a community willing to step up, and it becomes something much bigger.

Donate shoes. Give them a second life. Make an impact.

Because gamers change worlds—and together, we can change lives.

Good Shoes. Better Tomorrows.

For many of us, an extra pair of shoes is easy to overlook. But when those shoes are donated, their value can extend far beyond the person who originally wore them.

Through Soles4Souls, donated shoes and clothing are put to use through programs designed to create economic opportunity and provide relief to people who need it. For SOTA, the partnership represents another way to connect the passion and collective power of gaming with meaningful action in the real world.

And we're giving our community an extra reason to get involved.

For every qualifying pair donated, participants can earn 10 SOTA Points. Accumulate 1,000 points and you can earn a free SOTA Origins T-Shirt. Reach 3,000 points and you can earn a free SOTA Sweatshirt.

The rewards are our way of saying thank you—but they're not the reason this campaign matters.

Every pair represents someone choosing to help.

Gamers Change Worlds

Gaming has always been about more than what happens on a screen. It's about community. Teamwork. Showing up for one another. And when thousands of people who share that culture decide to put those same values into action, even small contributions can add up to something significant.

That's what Gamers vs. Homelessness is about.

We're challenging gamers, creators, esports fans, families, friends, and supporters to look through their closets, find the shoes they no longer wear, and give them another purpose.

Have one pair? Donate it.

Have ten? Even better.

Then challenge someone else in your community to do the same.

Our goal isn't simply to collect shoes. It's to build a culture within gaming where giving back becomes part of who we are.
